SAW, CIRCULAR, PNEUMATIC, PORTABLE

This Commercial Item Description is approved by the Commissioner, Federal Supply Service, General Services Administration, for the use of all Federal agencies.

1. Scope. This commercial item description covers 12-inch, portable, pneumatic circular saws primarily intended for cutting steel, stone, masonry, ceramics, plastics, and other ferrous and nonferrous materials.

2. Salient Characteristics.

2.3 Design. Circular saws applied in accordance with this description shall be of the manufacturer�s current design, be similar to Figure 1 and shall be in accordance with Table I. The saw shall be of the 12 inch size with a safety lock-off throttle. The saw shall operate properly at pressures between 80-100 psig.
